English: Set deep in a beautiful Buenos Airean province, Estancia San Mateo is nestled at the heart of an 50 acre farm, comprising of stunning pastures, forests and lakes. The local town, San Miguel del Monte, one of the oldest in the region, was originally built as a fort settlement in 1776. ‘Monte’ (as it is known locally) is full of classical Argentinean architecture and has all the shops and services you will need during your stay. The lively, chic and cosmopolitan streets of Buenos Aires are only an hour’s drive to the north. The ‘Estancia’ is very secluded and although extensively refurbished, the main building retains all its original features and charms. Complimented by a traditional-style new extension, the Estancia will provide our guests with all the comfort they could wish for. The farm comprises: Four double bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. Two twin bedrooms. A ‘Parilla’ – a traditional Argentine fire where meat is prepared. A ‘Quincho’ – an extensive lounge area with a large dining table, plasma TV, stereo, DVD player and a pool table. A bar area, complete with a fully stocked cellar of local Argentinean wines. A Veranda, perfect for a cool candle-lit drink in the evening. A small boutique shop. The breathtaking grounds provide the perfect setting for all the activities on offer. Next to the Estancia are the polo fields. With over 45 ponies, grooms and dedicated professional player-instructors, we offer the very best polo experience; from absolute beginners, to a tailored polo-themed holiday including tournament matches against local teams. Español: Tomar autopista AU-1 25 de Mayo hacia Ezeiza. Al llegar al km 26 de la misma y pasando el predio de la Asociación Argentina de Futbol tomar el desvío a Cañuelas. Al finalizar la autopista Ezeiza-Cañuelas girar en la rotonda a la izquierda, cruzar las vías y tomar la ruta nacional 3 hacia la derecha. Al llegar al Km 107 tomar la rotonda hacia la izquierda por la Ruta 41. Desde ahí se transitan 11,5 kmts. Como puntos de referencia se pasara por una segunda rotonda, un cementerio, un aeroclub y una curva amplia hacia la izquierda por la misma ruta 41. Desde dicha curva hacia la calle de entrada de la estancia hay exactamente 1,6 kmts. La calle de entrada esta señalizada por un cartel de mano derecha. Entrar por la entrada principal.

English: From Buenos Aires take AU-1 “25 de Mayo” motorway towards Ezeiza. After 26 kilometres, take the Cañuelas exit. At the end of the Ezeiza-Cañuelas motorway take the 3rd exit off the roundabout (left), cross over the railway line and turn right onto Route 3. After 107 kilometres take the 1st exit off the roundabout onto Route 41. After 11.5 kilometres cross over the roundabout, pass the cemetery and the airfield and the Estancia is sign posted on the right .
